All
of the carbon-Ferro alloys which contain more than 2% carbon are
called cast iron. The maximum portion of carbon used in cast irons
is 4.3%. Usually the percentage of Silicon and phosphor use in cast
irons is more than the percentage used in steels. Cast irons are
good for molding but they do not show proper formability compared
with the steels. Cast irons are used in metallurgy are categorized
based on the break fracture surface color to white, grey and mix.
The cast iron products of this company are offered in two groups of
grey cat iron bar and unbreakable cast iron bar and presently the
sale of the cast iron produced by C.C.M ASIA has faced a growth of
120% rate comparing with the last 6 months of the year 204 which
manifests the regional customers' reliance.

1-Grey
cast iron
The
carbon contained in this type of cast iron is of graphite type and
is observed usually in dark grey or black. the grey cast iron is
formed according to the graphite-Ferro stable system and the primary
crystallization of solid solution begins in a temperature lower than
1300 C. the melted carbon portion increases along BC melting line
and in the temperature of 1153 C, with the carbon percentage of 4.2,
it reaches the eutectic point of graphite-Ferro system.
The most important properties of grey
cast irons which leads to their excessive applications, include: its
low melting point , high fluidity , low contractibility at the time
of freezing, vibration absorbability , high mach inability, and
cheap price . In order to reach a more suitable distribution of
graphite, the temperature should be increased before pouring the
melted material in the mold to obtain smaller grains of graphite.
The same shall be achieved through adding a trivial portion of Ferro
Silicon and Calcium-Silicon alloys.
Presently, C.C.M ASIA Company is ready
to offer various products of different grey cast irons having the
favorite analysis of the customers inside and outside the country
and all cast irons produced by this company are delivered to the
consumers according to the regulations laid by the European Union
and American association of molders. Offering a high quality cast
iron product we aim at reducing the waste materials to a rate lower
than 3% percent and help the regional manufacturers to reach a
consumption analysis proper for automobile manufacturing industry
and industrial machineries and to increase the efficiency of
regional investments in the future.

2-cast iron
with global graphite or unbreakable cast iron
In
this type of cast iron, carbon contained is of graphite type an in
the shape of global pieces. In unbreakable
cast irons, the percentage of Sulfur and Phosphor used is less than
the proportion used in grey cast irons. Its mechanical property is
similar to that of ordinary cast irons. To make alloy from this type
of cast iron, the magnesium, Ce and /or Calcium, shall be added a
little before pouring the melted material in the mold in the shape
of primary alloys of nickel and Silicium. The magnesium added to the
melted material is absorbed by the graphite sprouts, and changes the
surface tension so tat the growth condition will be the same in all
directions.
Cast irons with global graphite like
grey ones show high fluidity, low melting point, proper machine
ability, and are resistant to abrasion. The major advantage of
using this type of cast iron in molding industries compared to grey
cast iron is its rigidity and flexibility. This type of cast iron
has the properties of steel and its structure is similar to that of
steel. the bar and unbreakable cast iron products of this company
are offered with a quality certificate and warranty and the
production analysis of this product is based on the standard
accepted by automobile manufacturing industry which reduces the
lateral costs . Today, the unbreakable cast iron of this company is
ready for being supplied across the world.
